Utilizing Public Port Schedule Information

Port Schedule Information

Public schedule information for Finnish ports is available to all users without logging in to NEMO.

Port schedule information includes details of vessel calls, such as estimated and actual arrival and departure times, basic vessel information, and the status of the port call.

Accessing the Schedule View

  1. Open a web browser and go to mnsw.mnsw.fiOpens in a new tab.
  2. Under the Arrivals and Departures heading, select Arrivals and Departures View.

Search Function

The schedule view includes search filters that can be used to limit the displayed port calls:

  1. Port call – Select a port call from the predefined list or enter a port call in the search field.
  2. Time period – Select a date and time range.
  3. Ship name – Enter the vessel name in the search field.
  4. Ship IMO number – Enter the vessel's IMO number in the search field.
  5. Port call status – Select a status from the predefined list of values.

Sorting Results

The arrivals and departures lists include sorting functionality. Results can be sorted alphabetically or by date and time in ascending or descending order.

By default, lists are sorted by arrival or departure time in ascending order, using either the estimated or actual time, depending on which is currently applicable.

Digitraffic Public API

A public maritime traffic integration API (REST/JSON) is provided through the Digitraffic service.

The API provides the information described below for vessels arriving in and departing from Finland. The interface is freely available for use by stakeholders for a variety of purposes.

This ensures that all parties have access to the same schedule information regardless of whether they have access rights to NEMO. As a result, port calls reported by your organization through NEMO are also transmitted to Digitraffic and become part of the publicly available port traffic schedule information.

Port code (UN/LOCODE), Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), local time, Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), local time, Actual Time of Arrival (ATA), Actual Time of Departure (ATD)

Expected arrival, arrived, departed, cancelled
