SSA Ship to Ship Activity Declaration

The SSA notification is used to report cargo transhipment operations carried out from one vessel to another in connection with a vessel call. The notification provides information on the vessels or barges involved in the transhipment operation. The notification is submitted separately for each vessel.

Complete this field if you wish to provide additional information related to the ship-to-ship activity that cannot be reported in Transshipment ship name DE-054-02.

If necessary, include information such as:

• the location of the cargo transfer operation (for example, T1 Hamina or Ulkoionselkä) in accordance with Regulation 1(4) TRAFICOM/326360/03.04.01.00/2021
• the nature of the cargo operation
• other clarifying information related to the cargo transhipment, the vessels involved, or the arrangements for the operation

Both vessels participating in the cargo transfer operation must submit an SSA notification:

• the vessel transferring the cargo
• the vessel receiving the cargo

Provide information in this section about the vessel or barge receiving the transhipped cargo. If cargo is transhipped to more than one vessel or barge, enter each receiving vessel as a separate record.

Transshipment ship name DE-054-02

Enter the name of the vessel or barge receiving the transhipped cargo.

Report the name exactly as it appears in the vessel's documents or other available identification records.
