Mandatory use of the Maritime Traffic Notification Service NEMO will begin on 1 January 2027. All reporting organisations can now register in the service's production environment. Prepare for the deployment in advance: register your organisation, familiarise yourself with the user instructions and participate in the refresher training in December.
Administrator, register your organisation and start preparing for use
Your organisation’s administrator is responsible for registering in NEMO. Once the registration has been approved, the administrator can invite other users, create permission groups for your organisation and start creating port calls occurring from 1 January 2027 onwards.

Please also keep in mind that vessels are always created in NEMO in connection with the first port call.

We have added a refresher training to the training calendar for December. The training will be held as a webinar, and its goal is to support reporting organisations as they prepare for the mandatory use of NEMO.
